Rebecca Warton

“When we are present, clear, compassionate, neither grasping nor resisting, we undo the habitual reactivity that keeps our body, mind and heart bound. In doing so we gain our freedom in choosing how to live.” – Tara Brach

Rebecca WartonMy name is Rebecca Warton. I am delighted to join the Creation Agency here in Los Gatos. I am a Marriage and Family Intern (IMF 98880), as well as a Professional Clinical Counselor Intern (PCCI), supervised by Erica Hospes (LMFT 50520). I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology with concentration in Integral Counseling Psychology, from The California Institute of Integral Studies.

I would like to warmly celebrate you on your path! You have chosen to listen to your inner wisdom and inquire into psychotherapy. Too often we navigate the world moving away from our Vitality and Authenticity. This causes us to feel cut off from ourselves, isolated from others, anxious, conflicted, depressed, avoidant or simply that something isn’t right.

Thankfully, we inherently have a resilient nature, an ALIVENESS, that encourages our strivings towards health and fulfillment. I am honored to support this essential process! My intention for therapy is to co-creating a therapeutic alliance that is grounding, invites the full range of your emotions and somatic experiences and lends to a sensed safe space for you to reconnect with the fullness of your Being.

My theoretical orientations are firmly grounded in Psychodynamic Theory and integrally informed by Mindfulness, Neuroscience and Experiential/Somatic Theory. Over the past six years my passion for psychotherapy has led me to accessing a number of intersections of Psychology.

  • Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Advanced Training 2 yrs.
  • The Hakomi Method, Comprehensive Training 2 yrs.
  • Gestalt Awareness Practice
  • Meditation & Mindfulness
    • Meditation Teacher Training – Jack Kronfield and Tara Brach
    • Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapies (MBSR, MBRP, MSC)
  • Transpersonal Psychology & Non Dual Approach
  • Academic Research & Philanthropy

If you are curious, I am happy to speak with you about the ways in which these orientations enhance my clinical lens.
